The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops
Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.
He evaluates and tests cleaning equipment, focusing on robot vacuums and mopping combos. These multitaskers can be ideal for those who want to get rid of mopping off their list of tasks. Some have great mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance. Some even wash and refill mopping pads for a hands-free cleaning.
The Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models on this list making it easier to navigate through tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it some of the best navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes, if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it is able to run longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through cleaning.
It's fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help pull away debris from corners.
The mopping efficiency is less impressive, though not by much. robot vacuum cleaner best rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into tight corners or along baseboards. The same front arms can be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys and fallen books.
Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a mopping solution that is proprietary and is sold separately. It is easy to install, and it works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum solely to mop, you will need to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It is equipped with a broad array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners looking to purchase an extremely efficient, flexible and adaptable cleaning machine.
The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean efficiently and methodically. This leads to an effective, consistent cleaning that is also quite fast.
In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach an array of surfaces. This includes baseboards, corners and other hard to reach areas. They also have a flexible side brush that can be extended to the floor in close proximity to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and can be dried to eliminate odors and stop buildup.
App-based customization is a different interesting feature. The Q Revo allows you to adjust the amount of suction and select between a back-andforth or more random patterns. You can also alter the number of passes it must make, which will determine how quickly the device can traverse your home. You can also choose to turn off the side brush to avoid damaging rugs and carpets.
The device has a expensive price, but comes with a large selection of smart features. It's important to note that it incurs regular costs, such as mopping equipment and maintenance. For instance the brushroll has to be replaced after 300 hours or every six to 12 months. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and mop pads must be replaced every one to three month.
This robot vacuum mop has a high Amazon rating and comes with a wide range of physical automation features. It has the power button that serves as a general "Clean' button and a 'Home button that sends it back to its base station after completing its cleaning task. It also comes with a multifunctional dock which automatically empty the dustbin, refills its water tank, and wash and dry its mop pads.
The Shark Matrix Plus
The Shark Matrix Plus will be an ideal choice for busy professionals or anyone who wants to keep their home neat without spending too much time on chores. It has powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and long battery life that makes it simple to keep your home clean with minimal effort.
The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one vacuum and mop. It is able to perform vacuuming as well as mopping. The robot is divided into two components which include a dry bin and water tank that can be snapped out and in and a mopping module that has microfiber pads. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may seem a bit old-fashioned, but they do mean that you don't need to worry about changing bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.
The Matrix Plus performed well at both vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature is its accurate floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture rug, furniture and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mopping.
We also noticed that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in removing pet hair. It was able capture the majority of hair shed by our cats and even was able to get into the nooks and crannies of our stairs while other robots struggled. It was fairly quiet and even had some lovely jingles to indicated when it was about to start or completing its task.
The app was too simple and you had to switch the modules every time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app can't store multiple maps. This could be an issue if your house has several floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those looking for a smart robot that is capable of mopping and vacuuming.
The Yiko X1 Omni
The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it has some distinct features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.
The base has several control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task, recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two of the buttons to switch on a child lock which is a great option for parents concerned about kids tinkering with the vacuum.
Similar to other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.
This can cause the X1 to become stuck if it gets entangled in a blockage, such as the power cable that is draped over a rug. It will not work until you manually untangle it. This is a rare event, but frustrating nonetheless, since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its app.
Another possible issue is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't a big deal apart from the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.
The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big departure from the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and is a refreshing sight in a space that is dominated by bulky boxy models.
